To enhance the scientific value of its 5th APICC 2025, the Organizing Committee invites 5th APICC’s participants to communicate their research and updates in the field of Pediatric Intensive Care Medicine in Oral and E-Poster Presentation.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE ON 31 MARCH 2025
GENERAL INFORMATION
- All abstracts must be original work.
- The paper must not have been published prior to 5th APICC 2025.
- No abstracts will be considered after the closing deadline.
- The presenting author of abstract must be registered as Registrant of 5th APICC 2025 congress.
- The abstracts submission for the same primary Author is limited to two abstracts.
- Presentation Type: Oral & E-Poster. The Scientific Committee will determine whether the Abstract will be accepted for Oral Presentation or E-Poster Viewing sessions.
ABSTRACT PREPARATION GUIDELINES
All Abstracts must be submitted online with Microsoft Word file attachment, with the following preparation:
- Abstracts must be typed in English; Arial font size 11pt and single spacing
- The Abstract must not exceed the 300 words limit excluding the title and authors.
- Abstract title written in UPPER CASE (Capital Letters)
- Authors’ full name shall be written by first name and followed by family name in upper and lower case
- Primary author(s) is the first mentioned. The presenter’s name is Underlined.
- Affiliation details in sequence for department, institution/hospital, city/state, country
- Avoid using non-standard abbreviations, unfamiliar terms; symbols or acronyms not easily understood by general readers. Non-standard abbreviations must be defined in full at their first appearance
- Use generic name of drugs. Express numbers as numerals
- Abstract contains only Text. Any table/graphs/diagrams should NOT be included in the abstract.
- References are not mandatory, and the word count is counted including references.
- The content of Abstracts (Research/Systematic Review/Meta Analysis Study) is four paragraphs that briefly state as follow:
- BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVE: State concisely why the study was conducted.
- METHOD: Indicate the locale, sample number, principal test(s) performed, and the types of statistical analysis employed.
- RESULT: confirm or refute the hypothesis, supported by statistic if appropriate.
- CONCLUSION: State the effect of the study on future patient management or understanding of basic process.
12. Abstract submission is also valid for Case Report with the content of Abstract in three paragraphs that briefly state as follow:
- BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVE: State concisely why this case is important to report, its novelty, and its clinical implications.
- CASE: Case description
- CONCLUSION: A summary of the clinical implications of the case, suggestions for clinical application, precautions to be taken, or topics of further research required.

- Register as participants in the 5th APICC 2025 congress.
- Participants are encouraged to complete their registration before submitting their Free Paper Abstracts with the final date for payment on 01 May, 2025.

*The Participant Registration Number is included on the registration invoice. The registration fee can be paid after the review process and the announcement of abstract acceptance.

ABSTRACT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
- Abstract will be first reviewed by the 5th APICC 2025 Committee upon quality, clarity, and relevance for the audience, as well as the significance of the paper.
- Acceptance letter of abstracts will be sent to the presenter email along with the E-Poster Preparation Guidelines at the latest 10 April 2025.
- The E-Poster presentation schedule will be notified later after the PDF E-Poster submission is completed.
WITHDRAWAL & CHANGES
- Abstract is allowed to be edited for one time only.
- The edited Abstract should be emailed to freepaper@geoconvex.com with the subject [APICC 2025] Revised Abstract (Presenter Name) at the latest before 31 March 2025.
- Withdrawal/changes will not be possible after the above-mentioned date.
- Automatic cancellation will be made when the registration payment is not completed by 01 May 2025.
PUBLICATION
- The presenting Author must be registered as participant to ensure their Abstract(s) is included in the final program. The uncommitted registration will cause the disqualification of Abstract and will not be published accordingly. Automatic cancellation will be made when the registration payment is not completed by 01 May 2025.
- Submission of Abstract acknowledges the acceptance for Abstract to be published in official APICC 2025 publications.
- The committee reserves the right to edit the abstract format for uniformity regarding publication.
FREE PAPER PRESENTATION
During 5th APICC 2025, selected participants will have the opportunity to present their abstract in Oral or E-Poster viewing session pre-sided with Panel of Juries upon schedule, which will be displayed from 09 – 11 May 2025 at venue.
BEST FREE PAPER PRESENTATIONS
- All free paper abstract participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
- The selected Oral and E-Poster Presentations will be pre-sided by Panel of Juries upon schedule.
- The best Oral and E-Poster Presentation in each category will be rewarded with cash prizes and a winner certificate.
- The result of winning presentations will be formally announced at Closing Ceremony on Sunday, 11 May 2025. The winner Presenters will be further contacted by Secretariat for administrative purpose.
SUBMISSION FORM
All abstract (free paper) presenters must follow and complete the registration prochedure required and registered as participant of the offline 5th APICC 2025 to obtain the registration number. Make sure that you have read abstract guidelines before you submit your abstract. It will be automatically disregarded if otherwise.
